Fill this form to have the opportunity to join the New Generations platform: submissions will be reviewed on a daily-basis, and the most innovative practices will have the chance to be part of the media's coverage and participate in our cultural agenda, including events, research projects, workshops, exhibitions and publications.
New Generations is a European platform that investigates the changes in the architectural profession ever since the economic crisis of 2008. We analyse the most innovative emerging practices at the European level, providing a new space for the exchange of knowledge and confrontation, theory, and production.
Since 2013, we have involved more than 300 practices from more than 20 European countries in our cultural agenda, such as festivals, exhibitions, open calls, video-interviews, workshops, and experimental formats. We aim to offer a unique space where emerging architects could meet, exchange ideas, get inspired, and collaborate.

Lesser houses’ are 3D-printed habitats for insects, designed by Angelo Renna in collaboration with Wildlife specialist Francesco Carrasso.
The inspiration was a research study published in the journal peer-J in January 2018. It says that there are around 100 different species of spiders, insects, centipedes, and bugs that inhabit our home. He realised that it was a hidden biodiversity that we needed to understand and support.
Habitats loss, invasive organisms, pollution, human activities and more climate change which all contribute to the causes of the decline in the population of fauna. Humanity has wiped out 50% of animal populations since 1970.
Lesser House is a series of 3D-printed houses for bugs and insects in search of a place. You can choose the one you like and print it. They highlight the remarkable diversity of life around us, which few of us notice on a day-to-day basis.
"Every now and then, you probably see a little creature around your home. Ants find their way to food that’s left out, spiders spin cobwebs in quiet corners of a room, and ladybugs occasionally appear near to windows where water condenses."
